At my own house, I decided to put my skills to use and create something special from some leftover materials. Using scrap wood and plywood, I embarked on a custom display case woodworking project. These display cases now house my personal collection, including items passed down from my father. I chose a navy stain for the wood, giving it a rich, deep color, and finished it off with a urethane topcoat after charging all the wood. This project was a great way to utilize spare materials and a meaningful way to showcase family heirlooms.
